From the fast lane to the back alley, from the hypnotic rocking of the commuter train to the habitual trembling of earthquakes TOKYO CRUSH follows the ups and downs of two outlandish foreigners trying to make themselves at home in the bedeviling, bedazzling metropolis known as the Big Mikan. Collin Long and Jianhong Huang commute like clockwork to and from VTR International, the high-powered TV station in the center of town. One is repelled by the crowds as much as the other is attracted to them, one tries too hard to fit in, the other doesn't try at all. Both manage to hang onto their jobs longer than expected, given the rise of a nationalistic faction bent on ridding the office of foreign influences.
